These little boys came to our rescue with their two sisters Lacy & Penny. Their siblings are also posted for adoption and needing their forever homes. These two boys are both very sweet and playful. We are going to copy some of the info that is posted about the pups and their parents from the rescue who contacted us to help with these little ones----Their father was a bernese mountain dog and mother was a Australian shepherd/lab mix. She had an over whelming number of pups 12 all together. That's where we came in. The family that had these sweet babies called us when they were only 4 weeks old, mom was becoming under weight and her milk was starting to dry up. So we brought them in and took over caring for them . Half came to us and half we sent to another rescue due to the large number. They are just 6 weeks of (Less)

These little girls came to our rescue with their two brothers Zack & Eddy. Their siblings are also posted for adoption and needing their forever homes. Penny the one on the right of the picture, was the runt of all 12 of these babies so she is a bit smaller than the others. She is a strong and happy little girl with lots of spunk. Lacy is very playful and also lots of fun. We are going to copy some of the info that is posted about the pups and their parents from the rescue who contacted us to help with these little ones.

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-14-00463Hershey (female)
Hershey is a smart, energetic two and a half year old lab/Australian shepherd. She weighs about 48 pounds. She has gone through training with Canine Companions. She barks at other dogs but is not aggressive toward them. She is friendly and likes to play. She needs a safe place to run and get her exercise. We just don't have the time and space to give her what she needs.

She may be the smallest from a litter of 9 but she walks around like the biggest puppy on the block. Loves to play with toys, people, and other animals.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-24-00680Joey (male)
Joey is a very loving and obedient boy. Joey is need of a home immediately as his young human companions are extremely allergic and have severe breathing difficulties while around Joey his family has tried to keep him as long as possible but to due to their worsening health are no longer able to provide the love and attention joey needs. He does well on a lead, enjoys and looks forward to his walks. He is very good running dog and stays right by your side. Joey would thrive in a home where someone is willing to give him some good ball or play time. He would do better in a home with children age 5+, while he not aggressive he tends to herd them if they become to loud, rough house or run in the home a lot. (Less)

both dogs need adopted TOGETHER, they are litter mates and CANNOT be separated. Loving-affection-obedient-crate and house trained, both fixed, approx. 3yrs old. So sweet, they deserve a good home together. We have 8 rescues, and are already crowded, fostering till we can find them a home, but need to place by July 1st.

Rescue Me ID: 14-05-26-00040Bear,blk/Rocket,red (male)
These 5 yr old litter mates would love to be adopted together as they are very attached to each other, but it is not a must. Bear (black) is a little more dominant then Rocket. Rocket is quite overweight. The adoption fee is $125 each or $150 for both to the right home or homes.

Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.
