Jack (aka Thumper) is a Pyrenean Shepherd pup. He is smart, cute, instinctual, and will be mid-sized. Jack is about 18 weeks old and has already been working on house-training and has learned his name. He is curious, but not naughty. He has three older dogs in his foster home who are teaching him the ropes of being a dog. EVERYTHING is new, since his previous life was mostly in a crate with his sister. He loves to be outside. He loves to play and will enjoy wrestle time with his Aussie foster sister or on his own will a squeaky toy. He sleeps through the night in his crate right now, but would love to eventually sleep with his people. He ... Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Bullard was saved from death at an Atlanta shelter..He is a sweet boy,but is aggressive with one of my other 6. He can be a great dog if he were the only or maybe with elder or female dogs.He loves to go in the woods and eat trees.. I've had him since Aug of 2016,but life here has been stressful, due to the fact of him not liking Clyde. He is ALWAYS kept seperate. He can be a sweetheart and loves his 'Minnie Mouse' toy. He needs a home with someone that understands rescued shelter dogs and probably would do best as an only dog . Also a fenced area or large amount of acres would be ideal.. I will only let him go to a special person..Looking ... (Read More)for someone that is compassionate and understanding.. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting an Australian Shepherd in Wisconsin
Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.

lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Wisconsin Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
