Meet Frankie, an 7-8 year old miniature AS who just loves to be your shadow. He gets along great with cats, likes other dogs, and is probably okay with respectable children. Frankie is in good health, but could stand to lose a few pounds as he is shaped like a barrel. He recently had his teeth cleaned, because his breathe could wake the dead. He enjoys being outside, inside, or wherever you are. He is a little iffy of new places, but once adjusted he does great. If you are interested in meeting Frankie, he is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and his adoption fee is $300.00

Even though he was born blind he can hear a pin drop with his intense hearing abilities and find it with his extreme smelling ability, hence the name Radar! Radar is a highly intelligent pup who doesn't let his blindness stop him, he is crate trained, house trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. He is looking for a family to love him just the way he is...good with dogs, cats, people and loves children who he can play with. It would be great if he can have another four legged friend in his new family either dog or cat. If you think you ... Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Malnourished,

This little guy is a delight. He is a great watchdog, but also a real lover. He is house trained, leash trained, well behaved, happy and smart! He would do fine in the country or in town, but he would need a fenced yard in town, as he is used to running around. Because he had inadequate care, he had a flea infestation that left him with bald patches. He will require follow up care for this condition, but he is healthy and flea free now! If you would like to meet Gilly, please contact me.

Rescue Me ID: 17-08-25-00259Sgt Pepper (female)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

We love this energetic and generally good natured dog, but she is fearful, anxious, and has snapped at people. We adopted her as a rescue ~6 years ago. Before we had her, she lived on a farm with her sister and was neglected, and probably abused. So, she is fearful of most people. She has learned to trust us and a few close friends and family, but is not good with strangers (barking, and she has snapped). It is stressful to have visitors, but we are able to have people over. She has snapped at and nicked two people. Another issue for us is our children. Pepper has learned to trust our 4 year old, and handles it very well when she runs by ... (Read More)screaming. But, we had a few negative situations, one just recently, when the 4 year old grabbed her bone and Pepper snapped/bit her. She also recently bit our 1 year old when she was chasing her around. She is a very sweet dog with us, often trying to cuddly her bony body on us but not too needy. She likes to sit next to you on the sofa, she's very affectionate when comfortable, however she cowers at any sign of a raised hand. She is well behaved and really WANTS to be a good dog and listens well when not distracted by rabbits or squirrels. She has the potential to be a good working dog of some sort. I think she would do best with another dog, if possible. She loves playing chase with her big brother dog. She is good with cats (although sometimes tries to play with them, thus annoying them). She loves to run and is a frequent race award winner in dog/human races. Her 5K PR is a 19:57. She is good at the dog park and fine being left alone. Some basic info: she is about 7, healthy, spayed, up to date on immunizations and meds, about 30lb, a mixed breed (australian shepard/border collie/cattle dog?) (Less)

Angel is 63 lbs and 11 years old. She cannot stay in her current home because her owner is blind and frail and can no longer care for Angel properly. Angel has been living in an apartment and has not been getting exercise. She is a smart dog and is basically a good natured dog, but her lack of stimulation and exercise have made her bored and restless. She is difficult to walk and she barks. Angel needs a strong owner who can give her the exercise she needs. Recently , Angel killed her owner's cat by shaking it. I believe this would not have happened had her owner been able to intervene and Angel has never bitten anyone or showed signs of ... (Read More)aggression. (Less)
