I can add pictures later but I have an urgent situation. Suzie has been with a one owner male with alchohol issues. We need to rehome her asap. It is hard for us to get to her. She responds to a strong male voice. Is in dire need to be on a ranch or farm to do what she knows is a natural act for her. Herding cattle. She will nip as they are known to do. She need someone to work with her. She aims to please. Looking for positive encouragement.

Tread is an Aussie mix in good health, who enjoys walks and lounging around. He has a sweet disposition, and likes attention and cuddling. He also loves routines. We have a new baby and are moving to a place that will not allow a dog of his medium size. I'd like to find him a home where he is able to find a routine. One that is comfortable, includes walks, and where he can be the 'top dog.'

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lulu wandered up to my door on 11/19/14, she appeared to have just been dumped because she was friendly and was in good body condition (other than just being a little stinky). She was estimated to be about 12 weeks old. She was not crate trained what-so-ever, though now with the little bit I have worked with her on it she lasts from 10pm to 4am and will wake me up so she can go outside. She craves human attention, wants nothing more than to be loved by humans. When I have her out with my dogs she pays them attention for five minutes, then we become her focus. She is good with children and other dogs; I have not tested her with cats but I ... (Read More)believe she will be fine especially given her age. She is very bouncy, lots of energy, but once she relaxes she is a lap dog. PIease Read Before Adopting an Australian Shepherd in Washington
Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.

lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Washington Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Aussies can be trained to perform tricks. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
