Australian Shepherd    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Bear is a sweet and loving mini Australian Shepherd. Over the last year my living situation has changed and I'm unable to care for Bear like he deserves. I have become a single mom and we have gone from living in a house to living in an apartment. I'm gone from the house for 13 plus hours a day due to work. I can no longer afford the medication Bear needs for his arthritis. He needs a family who is home more and can give him the love and attention he deserves. He needs to be in a home with no small children. He will come with everything he needs (beds, food, bowls, shampoo, brush, treats and leashes)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-22-00576Princess (female)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Princess, a young mini Aussie mix! At just about 30lbs, knee high, and 18 months old, she is the perfect size for most everyone! She loves everyone she meets, though she can be a bit shy at first. She is also great with children and would love a family with kids, and maybe even a low key dog to play with. She gets along well with dogs big or small as long as they don't try to steal her food ;) She has a moderate energy level but although she loves to be active, run, jog etc., she can also be calm as can be most times. She is house and crate trained too! She still has some puppy behaviors and loves toys. A super intelligent girl, she ... (Read More)knows sit, NO, back, stay, heel, out, crate, and is working on down right now. She will still occasionally jump up on you when excited. She would profit of some general obedience training & would make an outstanding Agility dog & herding sport dog. She loves to run & fetch and of course cuddle. If you let her she'll follow you everywhere. Princess is not a big barker, and while she does OK in the car, it can take her time to adjust to new situations. Princess is a very loving girl who has waited long enough for her forever home. Could that lucky home be yours? (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-13-00324Rusty (male)

Australian Shepherd    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Rusty is looking for a new forever home that will provide him with daily exercise and a person to be with most of the time. I have the typical work hours and while I'm gone him and my other dog are in a large kennel. Unfortunately he has some anxiety issues and has broken some teeth and has scratched his face while chewing his way out of the kennel. He also has the nervous habit of licking his feet which can sometimes cause sores. I have tried positive training and anxiety medications with little help. He is good with other dogs (loves the dog park) and with my cats. He is very friendly and easy to handle (including nail trims!). Not ... (Read More)food/toy aggressive. Prefers to avoid small kids mostly but is gentle with my toddler. He has fairly good manners and has been mostly an indoor dog but does have the bad habit of jumping on people in over-excitement when he first sees them. Rusty is microchipped as he does like to take himself on walks if he finds an opening though he has never dug out. If you are interested or would like to know more please contact me asap. (Less)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Eva is 2.5 yrs old, Aussie/Brittany mix. She is very timid and shy and has begun to show some aggression toward people and other dogs. She has not bitten yet, but I have children and can not risk one of them getting hurt. She needs someone with experience and time to train her. I have rehomed her before and they brought her back. I worry that if I cannot find a proper home or rescue group that I will be left with no other option, but to put her down. Thank you for reading.
