Oakley is a one of a kind, beautiful Lab mix... although he acts all Lab! He's goofy, friendly and loves to play in the water. He gets along with other dogs, too. He is approx 2yrs old and weighs about 70lbs or so. He must have a fenced backyard and he must be with an active family that will take him on lots of outdoor activities. He's a great dog and will make a wonderful addition to any family with children over 8yrs old. He's still a somewhat young boy so still needs training and he should not be left alone for more that 6hr intervals

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Such a sweet girl (loves to go on walks and lounge around and to be cuddled), which is why this breaks my heart. She has been lonely since her and I changed households and unfortunately on my own I work too long of hours to give her the quality of life she deserves. I'm hoping to find someone who is able to love her as much as I do and is able to be active with her. She hasn't really been around children before, only once and she did the normal puppy play with a 3 year old (kissing, mouthing but never any biting, tag, etc.) Finnley has only seen a cat on the street once which she did bark at and then just moved on. She grew up with a male ... (Read More)medium sized mixed dog and they were best buds (liked to wrestle and horse around and just lay near each other). (Less)

lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Washington Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
