Sweet girl looking for a home. I am moving and not finding a place that will accept dogs :( she would do best being the only dog or if their are other dogs then she will get use to them it just takes her a minute to warm up. She is not an aggressive dog, but she is very protective and loyal. I have had her since she was 4 months old and she will be 6 years old in April. Very sweet and calm dog. Low maintenance. she does very well with my 3 1/2 year old.

 Seizures

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Remi is a rescue who was originally believed to be fully deaf but we have come to figure out he is only partially deaf. Before receiving him, I was told he has Discoid Lupus but was never able to obtain any medical records from previous owners. Remi is a very sweet boy but is pretty timid/submissive. Since he is a somewhat nervous boy, it would be more ideal for him to be in a home without small children.....too much loud noise makes him more nervous. Remi keeps to himself most of the time but with the right owner/owners, I feel he would come out of his shell. Myself and my family are not a good fit for him, so ... (Read More)I'm hoping to find someone that will be!! He really is a great, housetrained, sweet and loving boy!!! Please email me at urbansarah85@gmail.com if you feel Remi may be a great fit for you! Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Lily has been a great dog. She has lived with our senior male dog since she was a few months old. They have been in a couple of fights and I think human food may have been the issue. We had a hard time house training Lily at first and because of that she has ruined our carpet. Every few months she will urinate inside.. not sure if she cant hold it or shes being defiant. I've heard that female urination is a hard habit to break but i wonder if shes in a house where shes never peed if she will continue the habit. She plays withe my 3 year old daughter with no issues. Im still cautious as i would be with any animal. I dont want to get rid ... (Read More)of Lily but my landlords are upset over the carpet and I cant blame them. Nor can I afford new carpet. I will be really sad to give her up but I wonder if she would be better with someone who has more time for her. She would love going on lots of hikes! We havent taken her around many dogs since she was a puppy. She wanted to run at them and shes way too strong for us to hold her back. shes fine on walks in our neighborhood though. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting an Australian Shepherd in Utah
Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Utah if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.

Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Aussies can be trained to perform tricks. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection.
