|Animal ID: 1418**Coming Soon** Lucy (female)|
Sweet, Sweet, Lucinda will be adoptable soon! We call her Lucy for short. She is the sweetest girl we have ever met. She loves EVERYONE! She is an Aussie/Husky mix (we think), spayed female, 42 lbs, and is about one year young. Lucinda gets along well with our 11 month old pup, and they play, and play, and PLAY! She is learning to walk on a leash, to sit, to play with toys, and crate training. Lucinda chases our cat, but our cat teases dogs by running up to them, repelling off of them, then running away, so she may be ok with a well behaved cat. She seems to have a high prey drive and gets very excited about squirrels in the back yard. We are training her daily, and she is learning quickly! She comes when called or to a whistle. She cocks her head in the cutest way. Lucy will be a wonderful friend to the lucky person that adopts her later. We will miss her! If you think you might be the perfect family for Lucy please fill out an application at http://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application Her adoption fee is $295 and all proceeds from her adoption go towards future rescues (Less)

|Animal ID: 1404**Coming Soon** Sassy (female)|
Meet Miss Sassy! She will be available for adoption in November. She came from a small hoarding situation in TX a few months ago and was scared and skinny. Sassy has come a long way and still has progress to make, but she will be a wonderful Velcro dog for a patient, loving owner. She is two years young, very playful, and gets along with other dogs after she gets to know them. She ignores our cat. She walks well on a leash, comes when called and sticks close. This little 25 pound Aussie- BC mix is a wonderful size that is easy to handle and great to travel with. Sassy is still shy and will need someone to be patient and understanding. She bonds well and will be good with someone that is home a lot, as she is worried about being left alone right now. We are working on that. Still shy, but coming out of her shell, getting socialized and becoming a traveler! Please keep your eyes out for her when she is ready! If you think you might be the perfect family for Sassy please fill out an application at http://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application Her adoption fee is $295 and all proceeds from her adoption go towards future rescues (Less)

Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.
