Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

M, 1.5 y/o, 48 lbs Shepherd mix Neutered ///// Charlie absolutely loves getting attention he can! He'll paw at you if you aren't petting him or playing with his toys and he gets along with other dogs and young kids. He's lived most of his life outdoors running free throughout the neighborhood but he has healed fantastically, enjoys his new life interacting with humans, and needs a home who can love on him every day! ///// HISTORY: Charlie was owner-surrendered to animal control officers (ACO) in bad physical shape (mangey, underweight). He was malnourished and neglected, left to fend for himself to roam the ... (Read More)neighborhood and get into trash. By the time ACOs impounded Charlie, his owner had already received 15 citations for animal neglect. We pulled Charlie from the kill-shelter and got him to our vet and fosters right away. ///// FOSTER / ADOPTION Our adoptable pups are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted! Rescue Me ID: 18-02-21-00463Storm (male)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Storm loves attention, sitting in your lap, and taking walks. He is an affection, playful, high energy pup. He's smart, quick learning, crate trained at night but would most likely be fine in a house without smaller pets, as he wants to play and a small animal might not be able to take his rough-housing. Storm needs a fence so he can run. His forever home needs someone who will play with him and dote on him. He's afraid of men, but with someone who will take the time to gently lure him in'|he will be (and has proven this) amazing. He's a big puppy mentally and physically. He's a really great puppy and will be a fantastic dog. The adoption ... lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Aussies can be trained to perform tricks. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
