Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered

Buddy belonged to my father who passed away September 2014. He is a very loving dog and requires that love back. He just wants to be loved and played with. Buddy was a stray so we are not sure if he is full blooded. Right now, he is getting fed but no one lives on the property and my sister who has moved to an apartment that cannot have dogs is going by to feed and care for him. If we cannot find a home soon, we will have to take to the shelter. He's very good with children and adults alike. He appears to be very healthy.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-14-00235Nikki (female)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Nikki came to us as a little, 5 week old puppy. She was adopted, but the adopter has realized that Nikki deserves much more time than the adopter is able to accommodate. Nikki is very loving and playful- She gets along great with other dogs both male and female, as well as any size. She has also showed no interest in cats, and LOVES Children. She is extremely smart, and a fast learner. She knows several tricks such as sit, down, stay, shake, twirl, and wait (very treat motivated). She is fair on a leash, but with a little more practice, I am sure she will be just fine. She is also crate trained, as well as house trained, and as long as she ... (Read More)has something of hers to chew, she will leave yours alone (unless its shoe laces, they are her favorite)! Nikki is about 45lbs, and around 7 months old now, she is eager to begin the next stage of her life with a more active family who can give her the time she deserves, and maybe even a big space to RUN! Of course she is up to date on all of her vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed prior to her adoption. Get your applications in on this one, she will go fast! All Rottweiler Hearts Rescue dogs are kept in foster homes where they learn basic house manners and training. Every dog is spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. Australian Shepherd    Age: Adult

Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

This dog is available for adoption, or to a rescue. I have a 8yr old Australian Shepard who was rescued 7 years ago from a high kill shelter. This dog has been loved for the last 7yrs by a couple. When they adopted him the shelter said they were the 4th family to adopt him. After adopting him he had busted through their glass door, chewed every wire in the house, and more. As he got older this behavior has been better. They tried crating him once, but he flipped the crate over and chewed their couch, so they never crated him again. I currently have him crated in my garage right now and he is doing fine. This past year they decided to get him ... (Read More)a doggy door. He has done great with it for months. Then issues started happening again. The couple had a 4ft chain linked fence and the dog (Bruce) decided he wanted out so he chewed through the fence. His mom came home and found him walking down the road. His dad had fixed the fence..... the next day he jumped the fence. It got to the point where he would jump the fence even if they were in the yard with him. They had heard about a heavy duty fence that he wouldnt be able to jump. So this past weekend they spent over $1,000 on this 6ft heavy duty fence and put cinder blocks around the fence. The fence was 40ft, and put inside of their 4ft fence. This morning he chewed his way out. I have suggested anxiety medications, or a shock collar. But they said they cannot afford to spend any money. Some had also mentioned a professional trainer. Bruce did have previous training at petsmart that did not work. He even had private lessons. The couple believes nothing can be done for him, but I dont agree. They called me crying this morning saying they were going to euthanize him this morning because they didn't want to put him through any more stress. Plus they didn't think anyone would do anything for him that they haven't tried. I believe with professional training, and anxiety meds he could be better! Need less to say I couldn't see Bruce euthanized, ao now he is under my care. I am re homing Bruce for the family. He is 8 years old, up to date on all shots, neutered, gets along well with most dogs (loves the doggie park). Does not need to go to a home that owns cats. Needs a female owner. He usually does not like most men, as we think he might have been abused by a male in his past. If you are interested in Bruce please contact me by email, or phone. He needs to go to a house that has a nice fenced in back yard. It also needs to have a hot wire ran across the bottom, or you need to have an electric fence for him. It would be great if there was a stay at home person with him all the time. He would probably do well in a house with children too. The family needs to be very active, or provide enough exercise for Bruce. If you are interested please contact me to meet him. He come with all his records, toys, leash, harness, bowls, food, bandannas, and more. There will be a small rehoming fee, and I will want to meet you and do a home check. Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered

Hennesey is a VERY loving dog. He loves both other dogs and cats(even though cats are not very fond of him) He was my daughters dog and we have had him since he was a puppy. Bottle fed when they brought him home. He is house trained and his favorite game is fetch! He would make anyone a wonderful pet. When he is inside he is very low energy...of course when he plays he is very high energy. We love him very much, but do not have the time (I work two jobs and am not home very much) or a place to keep him where he can run and play. I can't express enough what a GREAT dog he is!! He just needs a good loving home where he can run and play. ... (Read More)I am willing to help with the cost of having him neutered. (Less)
