Animal ID: 14-02-28-00441Scooby-Doo (male)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Scooby-Doo It is with a heavy heart that I need to re-home Scooby-Doo. We found him abandoned as a puppy 2 1/2 years ago. He is a Shepard/Chow mix and almost 3 years old. He is kennel and pillow trained. He is also neutered, up on all his shots and weighs 75 lbs. He is very inquisitive and loving. He likes to lean up against the back of your legs in as much as to say, 'I got your back!' With the chow in him , unfortunately, he has killed a cat and chicken. He would do great in town with a fenced yard and possibly with no other animals, not on a little hobby farm here. He enjoys sleeping with my daughter at times. I have health ... (Read More)issues and my husband has dementia so I need to focus on caregiving, etc. I need to find a home for him a.s.a.p. If interested please contact me at threesids321@yahoo.com or 775-475-2213. Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Violet is a fantastic family pet. She gets along great with other dogs, but she chases live stock so my assumption is she would not be good with cats. She loves men, women and children. Violet is an escape artist...a secured brick wall is a must...active family only, this dog loves to run.

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Here's a picture of Pudge. she is a cattle dog of some type. I think she has some Aussie in her. She's very smart and rambunctious. She is less than a year old and she's ready for a good home. I rescued her from death row in San Bernardino back in November, 2012, I think. It could have been October. She gets along well with other dogs with proper introduction, but she is a little overbearing for a little girl. She's looking for her forever home and I hope that it's you. $250 to adopt or $500 to adopt and delivery to anywhere within 500 miles of Vegas.

PIease Read Before Adopting an Australian Shepherd in Nevada
Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.
