Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I have an almost 3-year old beautiful Australian shepard/akbash mix, in Bozeman, MT. I have, with a heavy heart realized that it is no longer safe or healthy to have this dog. She is the biggest sweetheart but extremely protective of me, meaning in the right circumstance she is aggressive towards other dogs and in a few instances other people. I am in college in a house with lots of people coming in and out and feel this is no longer safe. She is extremely friendly to most people and most dogs but every once in a while something ticks and she is aggressive. I have spent so much time with her the past two years trying to fix aggression but ... (Read More)this is just in her nature as a cattle/sheep dog mix. She is extremely well trained and an amazing dog I believe she would thrive in an area with space to run and not a small Bozeman house to protect! I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can help me find a better home for my lovely best friend or point me in the direction of people that can! Please let me know if you can help me and my dog. Thank you for your time. -Tenaya Driller (530)412-1412 (Less)

The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Montana Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
