Say hello to Reggie - our Australian Shepherd mixed pal! Reggie is a rescue from Texas and is estimated at 3-4 years old. He had a very rough start in life there, but we have been working with him on socializing him with dogs and people and he has been doing wonderful! He's a very sweet pup who loves to have fun. Reggie needs someone who is patient and understanding of his past and willing to continue to work with him so he can be the best canine companion ever! A home with kids 12 and up would be best. We would also prefer a home with a physically fenced yard. Reggie enjoys playtime with other dogs, taking walks on leash, and playing with his toys. He also likes relaxing at his human's feet for some quiet time. Reggie does very well with most dogs and is fine with cats. Reggie is crate trained, fully vetted and microchipped. If you think this darling boy with such a unique look could be the dog for you - please send an inquiry today! (Less)

I have a female Australian Shepherd that's over a year. She has a lot of energy so she will need a fenced in yard so she can have room to run. She's not fixed and she'll need to be updated on her shots. She loves car rides and loves to give kisses. She's good around kids but not cats. She lived with another dog before I got her but I'm not positive on how she'll do with other dogs just for the fact that she will bark at them. I am asking for a rehoming fee to ensure that she goes to a good home.

Ruby was adopted from a shelter in Sept. 2016. She is a 2-3 year old red bi-Australian Shepherd with a docked tail. She is a terrific dog, friendly with people and kids. Ruby has a high predatory drive and there is a much loved cat in her adopted home so she needs a feline free home. She still needs some training to not jump up when meeting new people and to be less reactive when encountering a squirrel or rabbit on walks. She is clicker trained and would be a great candidate for agility or flyable. Ruby is loved dearly by her current family who have even trained her to walk on the treadmill for morning walks. She forms a strong, bond with her person but socializes with other dogs at the pet hotel with no incidents though her guardian instinct has been increasing especially when the kids are present and when someone approaches the house. She does settle down fairly quickly with strangers and is learning to stay on her bed when told. Ruby will definitely need a cat free home. She is a dominate female, so she should be either the only dog in the household or with a submissive male dog. She also needs a home with a high fence. She jumps standard chain link fences and has jumped over a 41' indoor dog fence. She is a strong-willed Aussie from working lines, she would be a great working dog and would make a loyal companion for someone who has the time to work with her and give her the attention and loves she deserves. Ruby weighs about 45 pounds, is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and is on heart worm and flea and tick preventative. Ruby will remain in her current home in Rochester Hills, MI until she can find her forever home. Her current owner is willing to travel to ensure Ruby finds the right family. Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.
