Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy
Health: Spayed

My name is Sardis. I am an Australian Shepherd mix about 3 years old. I was rescued along with my pup who is now adopted. I was pregnant with another litter of pups when rescued and all of them are now in loving homes. I have been spayed and am up to date on all my shots and heart worm negative. I am now hoping it is my turn to be adopted into a loving home. I have so much love to give a family since I love other dogs and kids. I don't even mind if another dog shares my food with me. My foster mom likes it when I sit with her which I really like. I am calm, love to play and run. Please let me be adopted to a forever home that will ... (Read More)love me and take care of me.     Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
