|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-01-00465Yoshi (male)|
Yoshi is an adopted dog from Woodford Humane Society. He has been my best friend for almost 4 years now, and is FULL of love and compassion. He is great around children and adults, however his high energy requires some extra attention. He is fully potty trained, and has great control of his bladder and bowel movements. He does very good at training and learning new things, however, he does need some work being trained to slow down/not jump when guests arrive, but I have no doubt he couldn't learn; I personally just haven't had the time to do it. With a new life journey ahead of me including 2 newly born girls, I regret having to give up my BEST friend for adoption, and truly pray that whomever is able to adopt him will be able to provide a happy and loving home, and have the time to give him the much needed attention and energy he requires. Yoshi also has a tendency to eat small paper items (napkins, money, laundry sheets, SOCKS, etc.) so precaution must be taken to ensure stuff like that is not around for him to get into. Due to being an in-home dog all of his life, he has a tendency to run around the neighborhood and release a lot of much needed running as well. I'd say a farm or large yard home would be optimal so he gets plenty of running done! :) He does not have any medical issues, and has never suffered from flees, ticks, or worms. His vaccinations have always been kept up-to-date, as well as his flea/worm medication. He is also micro chipped. I'll miss you more than ever good buddy, and only hope that whoever gets blessed to care for you will give me the opportunity to visit and say Hi from time to time! ;( (Less)

Chino is a three legged shepherd mix. He is extremely loving and wants to be a big lap dog. He loves to run and play and especially eat. He does excellent with kids and is submissive to them. He loves being friends with other dogs and loves cats even though they don't love him. We are moving across country next month and cant take our baby with us. Please help him find a new forever home!

|Rescue Me ID: 13-06-11-00244Gracie (female)|
Gracie is an 9yr old 45lb Aussie/Pointer mix. Gracie is full of life and energy. Gracie is housebroken, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Sadly, Gracie was left to have multiple litters of puppies and as a result, developed mammary cancer, which was surgically removed last year, when she was spayed. Gracie gets along well with male dogs, and kids, but not so with cats. She loves to chase, but never harms them. Our cats do not appreciate Gracie's style of play! Gracie would love a home of her own, to live out her life as a fun loving girl! Gracie is current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Gracie's adoption fee is $150. Application and home visit required. Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog's veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the life of the dog while in foster care. NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY. **Adoption and foster applications can be found on our website BGSDR.com **We are limited to the numbers of photos we can put on each adoption web site. To see more pictures of our dogs, visit our FB page Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue. Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.
