Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

You can't look at Hank without smiling. That's because he's always smiling back. He is just so happy to be near someone. Hank's owner was losing her eyesight and had to keep him in a kennel. Now that he is around people, he's so very happy and loving. Hank is approx. a year and a half old and would make a great companion dog.

He is house trained. And doggy door trained. And invisible fence trained. He sits and waits to be fed and receive treats on command. He is wonderful on trips. He is afraid of the school bus and garbage/recycle truck. Please find someone who will take him or otherwise we may have to put him down and we really don't want to do that.

Gracie is an 9yr old 45lb Aussie/Pointer mix. Gracie is full of life and energy. Gracie is housebroken, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Sadly, Gracie was left to have multiple litters of puppies and as a result, developed mammary cancer, which was surgically removed last year, when she was spayed. Gracie gets along well with male dogs, and kids, but not so with cats. She loves to chase, but never harms them. Our cats do not appreciate Gracie's style of play! PIease Read Before Adopting an Australian Shepherd in Kentucky
Australian Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. Australian Shepherds are gentle with humans and aggressive when herding farm animals. Aussies are active even when indoors and do best with plenty of exercise in a large yard.

lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost Kentucky Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Aussies can be trained to perform tricks. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
