Rescue Me ID: 14-10-11-00468Kobe (male)

Australian Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Kobe is a four year old male pure bred mini-Australian shepherd. In addition to being gorgeous, he has one of the cutest personalities I've ever seen in a dog. He connects with his humans, is involved in everything, talks to you, loves to play but understands when to back off. He is very sweet and loving with the people he loves and is really fun. He's obedient and loves walks and great on a leash. He's not fond of car rides though and gets nervous. He can be pretty sensitive, but it goes hand in hand with his intelligence. He's in perfect health. He does have a problem with strangers and is very overprotective. He's been trained ... (Read More)for not going wild at the front door, but can forget himself. Once he knows someone, he will trust them forever. If not, it can be problematic. He has been known to nip and bite. He hates one of our next door neighbors and is aggressive towards them, but is fine with other neighbors. He's been trained with an electric fence to prevent him from going to the neighbors. Another issue is that he can still mark in the house. He will go months without doing it, then start it up again for a few weeks. Even though I've used every cleaning product known to man, I'm sure his smell is still there to him and he feels he needs to re-mark. I'm thinking that starting fresh in a new house will stop that behavior. As for other animals, he loves other dogs when his nervousness calms down. He adores cats and wants to chase them to play with them. But he plays roughly and most cats want nothing to do with that! He has been crate trained but I don't know that he would do well for extended periods of time. (Less)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Nauru is a wonderful dog and I have had her a little over 5 of her 6 years. She is fully trained and SUPER smart. Dont let her age fool you, she has not slowed down since she was a puppy and still continues to learn new tricks on a regular basis. I am moving out of the country some time next year and need to find the perfect home for my baby girl. She is very special and needs a special human to meet her active needs. Lots of land would be ideal. Nauru knows all her basic commands by voice and hand. She needs lots of cuddling time as well as activities during the day. She has the potential to be good with children and cats with a consistant ... (Read More)home. Toddlers do scare her and she has lunged at a toddler before. This is to be kept in mind. The toddler was not hurt, a small nip and a good lesson. She is the best dog in the world! I would like to be able to spend some time with that special person or family that wants to adopt my baby girl, make sure its a suitable match. If you are interested please contact me. Let work something out. She is the best little addition that the right person could ask for. Oh and she is about 40 pounds, the perfect size :) Treeshavetrunks@hotmail.com (Less)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Senior

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi, We are Radar and Sydney! If you are looking to add a pair of delightful pre-loved doggies to your life, we would love to meet you. We are being rehomed by our owners because of severe dog allergies that have developed in the kids in our home. We are very much loved, and our owners are hoping to find us a home where we will be cherished as much as we are now. We are a male and female, healthy, neutered and spayed, and up to date on our shots. We are both very well behaved and get along with other dogs famously. Cats are probably not a good match for us. Although we are getting on in years, we are very loving and have a lot to offer. ... (Read More)We are cuddle muffins, and are especially good at making you feel important and loved. We both ADORE children! Kids are our favorite people, and we are very patient and gentle with them. We are both housetrained and have also had obedience training. Please open your heart and home to us! We will definitely wow you with wiggles and lavish you with loving licks. We come with all our doggie stuff, including two dog crates, leashes, balls, dog bowls, two dog beds, and lots of treats and bone. You just need to provide a loving home and some quality time to spend with us. We hope to hear from you soon! Woofs and Wags, Radar and Sydney (Less)
