Incontinence is controlled by Proin so she is an indoor/outdoor pet. Gets scared by thunder. Current owners travel a lot and find it unfair to Ginger to be outside and alone so much when we are gone.

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet our new rescue dog, Rusty! He is a two year old American Bulldog/Shepherd mix. Rusty loves snuggling and getting belly rubs. He likes going for car rides. Rusty is anxious to please his human and is motivated by verbal praise. He loves any treat he is offered and accepts them gently while sitting. Rusty enjoys being brushed and does not like getting wet (in the sprinkler or the wet grass)!! Rusty is a very healthy stray from the Fort Morgan area of Colorado, but it is obvious to his foster mom that he has had a very positive human relationship in his past. Rusty knows how to use the dog door when he needs to go out. He is house trained ... (Read More)and learning to be crate trained. Rusty will need leash training because he can pull hard. Rusty gets along with other dogs, but sometimes he can play too rough or aggressively. Rusty has a dominant personality. He does not get along with cats. Rusty has not been observed around young kids yet. He has no preference towards men versus women. Rusty is very smart and obeys a firm voice. He knows the commands: Come, Sit, Stay, Down, Off and No Bark. Rusty needs continued training to limit aggression in play with humans and other dogs. He will need continued leash training. He can be more concerned with food in bowls other than his own, but he is learning to share at meal times. Rusty needs that chance to be a member of a family again, and he will thrive. If you'd like to meet Rusty, please fill out the online app today! Adoption fee is $175 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.     Cooper, the Awesome Aussie, is a wonderful dog! He is higher energy and would appreciate an active home, but is also, mellow, well-behaved, loyal and extremely intelligent. He is great with kids and be a good family dog, or a great copilot for an active single person or couple. He will tend to be protective once in a home, which can be managed though some training. He listens well and already knows many basic commands. Cooper walks well with other dogs, but tends to be dominant and would be best as an only dog. He's been patiently awaiting his forever home for the past year a half. He's ready! Cooper is available through Every Creature ... (Read More)Counts, a no-kill shelter in Ft. Lupton.
