He just got here, there are only a couple females dogs here and he's excellent with the boys. Looks like a few herding breeds in here. He's 50 lbs, tall, tricolor, Border Collie and Australian Shepard looking. Smooth coat. His second day here, he just watched us work around the yard, literally lounging with his new friends. He's been really good, no barking, no digging, no trouble at all. Koa is an easy keeper. Our first pack walk was excellent!! Not a question of this dog not coming ... Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed

Hi. Meet Reese . She is a approx 10 week old Australian Shephard Mix. ( We are not sure on the mix since she is a rescue) She is super loving and loves to snuggle. She also loves to play and gets along great with our other dogs here. Her new owners will need to come to Victorville Calif to meet her . We do not ship our rescues. New owners will also be responsible for getting her spayed before she is 6 months old. We do interview prospective adopters to find the right fit for both the dog and the family. We do not adopt out to Families with children under 5 years old due to we do not feel its safe for the children or the puppies or dogs. ... (Read More)All our dogs must be allowed to be inside outside dogs. Treated like family. Also keep in mind..because we do rescue we do not always see both parents to the dogs or pups we bring in so we can not say how big or small any dog will be full grown . So if you are looking for a specific size I recommend you adopt a dog over the age of 1 year old. That way they will be full grown in most cases. Her adoption fee is $500.00 . This allows our rescue to continue to help other animals that need extreme vetting to save their lives. Please contact me with any questions or if you would like to meet her. Thank You. Tonie (Less)

Hi I'm Rowdy, a 4 year old boy Australian Shepherd Mix. I am a big boy, weighing in at just under 70 lbs. Don't let my weight fool you though, I LOVE playing ball, spending time outside and have plenty of stamina. I have had a ruff start at life but things are looking up for me now that i'm in a rescues care. The ideal living situation for me would be a space with little visitors and lots of open space for me to run and play ball in. I would also prefer to have a dog friend with me, as I'm good with other dogs and enjoy their company. I am a homebody dog, I really would make a great dog for someone who is looking for a stay-at-home-dog. I ... (Read More)have good house manners and know sit, wait and down. This smart boy is already house trained and learning about the crate. He already knows the commands for sit, stay, and go to bed. Sir Frost is also a nice guy. He is good with men, women, and should be okay with teens. Sir Frost simply wants his person to be a confident leader who has a quieter home life. Rescue Me ID: 17-06-04-00106Bloo (male)

Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

**Sorry, we cannot adopt outside the Southern California area*** DOB: June 2005 || BREED/COLORING: Australian Shepherd and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix - red (he has one blue eye and one brown eye) || SIZE: Bloo weighs about 40bs and is full grown || HISTORY: Bloo was dumped at a City Shelter by his family in late 2005. We saw him at a big adoption event and decided to get him out of the shelter before he was euthanized. || PERSONALITY: Bloo is an amazing boy. He is very sweet and smart and absolutely LOVES to be petted and brushed. He makes gurgling noises when you scratch his neck and he's just waggy and friendly all the time. || TRAINING: ... (Read More)Bloo knows SIT and is great on leash when he has a good handler. He will need some re-work on his housebreaking, but is so smart it won't take long. He is also great with a crate - so he could be crate trained really easily too. || WOULD DO BEST: Bloo would like a yard for sure - maybe even another doggie to hang out with. He would do great with someone who has at least some experience with dog training - and would probably REALLY do well at agility training. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Bloo has been around indoor cats his whole life and is indifferent to them. He is great with other dogs on a one-on-one basis - but isn't recommended for dog parks because he will try to referee any doggie argument that takes place :) Bloo would make a FANTASTIC family dog for homes with children. || VET RECORD :All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Australian Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Duke is the other half of Daisy's heart, but he will steal all of yours. They are a pair of bookends for the story you will write about them. Since they are a bonded pair, one adoption fee covers both of these beauties. Duke is still studying the particulars of leash walking and housebreaking. He is crate trained, which will go a long way in the overall curriculum. Duke will be happy to meet you and fill you in on the rest of the story.' He is ready to find that happy ending for himself and his lovely precious Daisy.

The Australian Shepherd, or Aussie, is a playful breed that provides excellent companionship to active children. Aussies are smart, trainable, protective, and eager to please. lnteresting Australian Shepherd Trivia Low-Cost California Spay & Neuter Clinics
Australian Shepherds are not Australian; they were developed in the United States for herding livestock on American ranches. Australian Shepherds are descended from Spanish dogs that were used for herding Merino sheep. Aussies are often used by police for narcotics detection. Some Australian Shepherds are prized for their beautiful merle coloring, but the gene that causes this coloring also results in deafness or blindness.
